Input/output indicators
To make it easier to test your changes, use the vertical indicators that visually show the input and output values as they change as you move the brake lever.
Input indicator
The input indicator shows the data read from the lever position sensor. It is important, for example, during brake calibration.
In a properly calibrated device it should fill from 0 to 100% with full movement of the lever.
Output indicator
The output indicator is an indicator showing the output data, modified by the brake electronics, that is being received by the game.
For example, you can see the settings dead zoneand – when the lever is already moving and the exit indicator is still stationary, or the point maximum brake action, when the lever has not yet reached its end position and the exit indicator is already completely full.
Additional tips
You can also check the output signal values in system “Game Controllers” tool. The pointer in this tool moves exactly the same as the exit pointer in our software.
