HU Getting Started: FleX Brake
Device assembly
Before first use, make sure the brake is securely attached. Use the included mounting screws or the pressure mount to secure the device to a tabletop, rack, or cockpit. A secure mounting of the device is a guarantee of safety and reliability even during the most intense tournaments.
A strong and solid brake assembly is especially necessary for the Max and Ultra versions of devices.
Quick Start: Plug and Play
To start using the handbrake, simply connect the device to your computer using the included USB cable. The X series brakes are plug and play, meaning you don't need to install any drivers. Once connected, the brake is ready to go!
Personalization and calibration
All purchased brakes are pre-calibrated, tested and pre-configured, which means that once connected to a computer they are ready to use without any additional advanced configuration.
Brake calibration is only needed when a specific game requires specific settings or when you want to customize the way the device works to your preferences. Brake calibration is done using the X4RACE Tool software, below you will find basic information about it.
